How many times a day do you scroll your Instagram feed? Hard to count, right? It may happen that you find something that catches your attention: your pictures being stolen! From now on, if you see someone is using your photo on Instagram, please let us know about it.
DON’T LET IMAGE THIEVES FOOL YOU
If the photo was used without your consent, even if your name is mentioned in the description under the picture, it is still classified as image theft.
WHY WE CANNOT FIND YOUR STOLEN PICTURES ON INSTAGRAM?
While exploring the vast ocean of the Internet and searching for cases, we monitor different sources and search for copyright infringements on various platforms. Unfortunately, Instagram is not indexed in Google, hence we can’t find any copyright infringements there.
SEND US YOUR FINDINGS
That is why we need a little bit of your help here! As soon as you find your pictures being used by someone else on Insta, please send us what you spotted. A screenshot and the thief’s username should do. Of course, the more information about the infringer, the better. You can contact your Case Manager directly. If you want, you can also simply share the post with a direct message to our Instagram account @photoclaim_official and we’ll pass it on to your Case Manager. If you do not have one assigned yet, just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON INSTAGRAM ALL THE TIME
Since Instagram is becoming a more and more popular platform to share pictures, we would like to ask you to keep a close eye on it. There might be both inspirations and your stolen pictures waiting to be found. According to our predictions, the number of infringements on Instagram will grow. We also would like to ensure you that we will keep working on improving our monitoring options to provide you with the best service available and not to miss a single opportunity to get back the money that you deserve from your copyrights!
